Movie Reviews of Toy Story 3
- I found Toy Story 3 to be, easily, one of the most touching movies I have ever seen. The series followed my generation. I grew up with Toy Story 1 and 2, and now as I myself am heading off to college, I couldn't have asked for a better, more poignant ending than Toy Story 3. The familiarity of the characters coupled with inevitable, generational continuity, creates one of Pixar's finest works. It speaks to the warm ache of nostalgia, to die-hard loyalty, to the acceptance of change. Of course, it wouldn't have been a true Pixar film if it didn't make the audience laugh out loud every few minutes. And when Andy played with his toys for the last time at the end of the movie... my god, I cried like a baby.
Cinematic, animated brilliance.
- I recently saw the new movie Toy Story 3. I have always enjoyed the movies and have grown up with them and i think this one was just as good as the last. I liked how they kept most of the characters and kept the the bases basically the same. I did have a few things i did not like though. The movie seemed to race by, i don't know if it was just me but this movie was over like that. Second off you don't really get to know the new characters introduced in this movie they are kinda just there. But all in all the movie is very good i would give it a solid 4/5.
- Toy Story 3 was a fabulous movie! I found it to be a bit more suitable for an older audience than the previous 2, basically due to the situational suspense. All in all it was full of humor and sentimentality and should be seen by all who enjoyed the first 2 stories. What's not to love about toys?
- Toy story 3 was a very good mivie there was lots to see in. ( it kept my two year old intersted the whole time!) the only thing I didnt like was that mean old bear!!:)
- Toy Story 3.
Took my 3 year old daughter to toy story 3 and was very impressed. It kept her entertained for the entire 2 hours, and i also enjoyed the movie. most of the movies she enjoys i watch with her only to appease her, but i truly enjoyed this classics third coming. It was a good solid movie and a great way to end the series.
- Toy Story III is not just for kids! The plot line is easy to follow, and you do not have to have seen the prior movies to keep up. For the children, the thrill of watching toys come to life is awe inspiring. Adults will be reminded of the "good old days." Some of the toy "characters" are reminiscent of actual toys from the past. You will laugh, cry and thoroughly enjoy Toy Story III.
- Toy Story 3 turned out to be an amazing movie. My fiance and I went to see it without high expectations but we could not stop laughing until we almost cried. It is not just a kid's movie, it is for every age group. We have recommended it to just about everyone we know.
- Toy Story 3 was a funny engaging film about toys that were trying to escape a daycare that was not so friendly. Buzz (Tim Allen), and Woody (Tom Hanks) are up to their old tricks again in this final sequel. They realize that even toys that have gone astray can be turned around with a little love and understanding. Their journey is full of excitement danger and laughter. See if Buzz , Woody and all of their friends make it out alive and back to their owner. A must see for the whole family.
- so I went and saw toy story 3 last night. It wasn't in 3d but it was fantastic. I cried and laughed. It's probably one of the only good squeals out there. I loved that fact that the toys grew older in their personalities and andy gets ready to go to college. It makes you feel like the movie grew with you after all these years. I think everyone should see this movie.
- I recently went to go see Toy Story 3. It had been awhile since i'd been familiar with Woody the infamomous toy cowboy and friends, but within the first few minutes I was instantly familiar again with the new toys from movies 1 and 2 and adventures. Though I had thought that I wouldn't like the movies the same after its hiatus in the 90's, I was pleasantly mistaken. The series was just as good as it was when I was 10 to my now early 20's.
Toy Story 3 begins in the first few days before Andy, Woody's and Buzz's kid owner, now grown up and packing for college. All the toys band together to figure out what Andy will do with them, either a life in the attic, donation or thrown away. Andy chooses Woody to come to college with him, leaving the other toys packed up in a plastic bag for the attic, but during a trash bag mix up, the rest of the toys are dragged to the trash. Seeing this Woody escaped the college box to rescue his beloved toy friends. After being saved, the angry toys are convinced Andy abandoned them, jumping into the donation box inside Andy's mothers car. Leading them into an adventure at the preschool where the toys are donated. After the preschool is not exactly as heavenly as they thought, they plot to escape and find home before Andy goes to college.
I recommend this movie any age. The movie was funny, highly hilarious at times and even bittersweet. You could catch me with a tear in my eye. I'd give Toy Story 3 : 8 stars out of 10
- Toy Story 3 was a cute movie. I was really excited to see it because I grew up watching the other 2 movies and I feel like I grew up with Andy. This movie made me cry. If you grew up watching toy story then you would cry too because seeing how much the toys love their owner is sad and touching. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone any age.

You rated this movie: 5.0 Rate 5 starsRate 4 starsRate 3 starsRate 2 starsRate 1 star Last year, I was impressed with everything about Up. The movie was perfect. I even root for that to win the best picture for academy award. They didn't win, but I wasn't that disappointed, I still have a hope that one day soon they will definitely will win. Now, let's talk about the movie. So, Andy is growing up and about to leave for college. What about the toys then? They're still the same, they didn't grow up, and they're purpose were still the same, to be played by children. The problem is, Andy is no longer a children. In part two, Jessie (the cowgirl toy) shared her sad story being abandoned by Emily, the owner who grew up. Now, it seemed like Emily situation all over again. Without spoiling the story too much, Woody and the gang ended up at Sunnyside daycare. It seemed like this was probably the best ending for those toys, but we know it wouldn't because then there would be no story. So, yes just like the previous movies, there would be villains in this one. Unfortunately, the villain character on this movie seemed repetitive from the part two, again I won't spoil that one because I still think this is a must movie see. Was I disappointed? Not at all. I still enjoyed the movie and would not mind seeing it again. Of course there were some touching moments (though "Up" still tops the list on that subject). Of course there were some funny moments a la Pixar that until now still couldn't be beaten by Dreamworks and any other animation out there. Some of my favorite were the ones with Buzz Lightyear (though he's never been my favorite character, or with Barbie and Ken (Michael Keaton did an awesome job). Overall, the story quite predictable and there weren't really surprising moment. However, the geniuses behind the movie knew how to please the audience, so you didn't really care about the predictable plot and such and you still walk away of theater satisfy just like I did.
- Toy Story 3
Usually the movies that continue ex: 1,2, 3,....) never compare to the first but this one the best yet! Going to be hard to top.
- Toy Story 3 is a fun adventure for young and old alike. As we have come to expect from Pixar films, the voice acting and animation draw you into the story and make you feel like you are a part of the action, living the movie with the toys. I would definitely recommend watching Toy Story 3 with or without kids.
