Movie Reviews of The Taking of Pelham 123
- I just watched Taking of Pelham 123 on DVR. I didn't expect too much and I got what I expected! John Travolta plays the same bad guy he always plays. Denzel Washington, while not spectacular as he sometimes is, rises above the crappy dialog. The Travolta character gets involved with finding out about Denzel's past which is stupid considering he is holding a subway car hostage. The tension builds and then there is the ever present car chase. Not a good movie but not awful.
