- The Men Who Stare At Goats - Actually pretty funny in parts and definitely thought provoking in other parts. I am not sure if the goal of the movie was to be humorous but that is the way it came across to me. All the actors played their parts very well and were definitely convincing. I hope the things that happened in the movie did not actually happen even though at the very beginning of the movie a sentence appears on the screen that says something similar to 'There is more truth to this movie than you want to believe'.
