- The Great Outdoors is a comedy made in the early 90's which stars the late great John Candy, and Dan Akroyd. The movie is about a couple and their two sons (Candy) who rent a cottage for a week. Expecting a fun filled family time, they are about to find out that Candy's annoying brother in law (Akroyd) his wife, and their two strange twin girls are going to join them!
What you have next is a lot of laughs! Great movie, which I'd recommend to anybody who likes a good family comedy, or Akroyd and Candy.
