What a wonderful movie!! The story-line is incredible. What a wonderful tale of love, intrigue, revenge, and happy endings!
The prison scenes were especially well done...what it was like being locked away even though you are known to be innocent, solitary confinement in the era in which it was set was especially horrific.
I have to say the "pirates" or thieves, are some of my favorite characters. The loyalty and friendship to Edmond is amusing and refreshing.
The entire plot of this movie as well as how well cinemagraphically it was done make it one of my family's favorite movies.
