Movie Reviews of The Bounty Hunter

  • The Bounty Hunter is a tolerable romantic comedy. It was pretty predictible, I think everyone in the theater knew what the outcome would be. Milo, the bounty hunter ex-cop, now broke, gets a new bounty offer, bringing in his exwife Cassidy, a journalist, for a $5,000 bounty. Cassidy jumps bail because she is too busy following a lead on a story to make her court appearance. Cute. There were some laugh out loud moments, but not enough to make this anymore than a 3 star movie. And it seemed sooo long! I felt like I had sat in that theater for 3 hours before it was over. Jennifer Aniston is a knock out as usual (and seems to play up that fact in this film much more than usual) and Gerard Butler is cute. But oddly enough, they dont seem to have any onscreen chemistry. Even odder, being that I heard they are romantically involved in real life. I mean, they look good together, but theres no spark. So this was just an ok movie for me, I hope that Butler and Aniston both choose more wisely in the future. I did like Jason Sudekeis as the wanna be boyfriend of Cassidy. My advice is to wait for the dvd.

  • I just saw The Bounty Hunter starring Gerard Butler & Jennifer Aniston. It was a funny, sweet, cute romantic comedy. Typical guy loses girl but gets girl back movie but still a fun movie that I will be buying on dvd because it is a movie you can watch again. Lots of laughs and a feel good romantic comedy good to watch with a date or alone. I really enjoyed the movie and would give it 2 thumbs up.

  • I recently saw the Bounty Hunter. Although I love Jennifer Aniston, I am truly tired of her shallow characters. Some parts of this movie were entertaining or funny and should only be seen by people who are looking for just that. If you want something with substance, this is not the movie for you.
