- One of the best movies ever is Somewhere in Time with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve. This is a great love story with a little touch of Sci Fi mixed in. Richard is a playwright in modern times (1980) who falls in love with a woman in a photograph from the early 1900's at the Grand Hotel. Using self-hypnosis, he transports himself back to her time to meet her. He struggles to stay in a time period that isn't his own and longs to stay with her forever!
