Movie Reviews of Sex and the City 2

  • I just watched Sex and The City 2. Being a huge fan of the series and the first movie my expectations were high. I was not as pleased as I thought I would be. The movie was still good, but it just wasn't as good as the first one.

  • Sex and the City 2, still in theatres, is a serious yet comical film. The four ladies are best friends and will not let anything get in between their relationships. They all take a trip across the world and some of them end up finding themselves in trouble. In the end, they all figure it out and they all get home safe. This is a great movie for a girls night out.

  • I loved Sex and the City II. It seemed more like a bunch of episodes stringed together, but any true fan of SATC would love it. It presently a nice additional story to the characters we have watched throughout the years. I realized something bad would happen with Carrie and Big but I am glad it wasn't anything that destroyed the marriage and that it was resolved.

Miranda presented a great person to watch, as she was more positive then she usually is, Samantha was back to her old self and Charlotte was going through things that every mother goes through.

  • I recently went to go see Sex in the City 2. The movie was very entertaing and funny. All the main cast didnt disappoint. There was less drama then in the first one but still just as great. The high fashion meets with world travels meets with famous people. A must go see movie for all the ladies.

  • we went to see Sex in the City 2 last week. It was the PERFECT girls night out! We laughed and we cried... the 2 hours & 30 minutes went by so quickly, they could have made the movie 5 hours and we would have sit happily through it, lol... all that is missing is a sex in the city 3!

  • I found Sex and the City II to be a refreshingly pleasant movie. I got hooked onn the show as a guilty pleasure and actually loved the first movie. The whole middle-east getaway premise of the second one didn't appeal to me, but I found myself enjoying the scenery and the clothes, of course. But I also liked that they tackled some real issues, like Samantha's menopause crisis when her herbal meds were confiscated and the fact that they had to leave the country early because of her sexual antics. If they hadn't had any repercussions, it would have seemed like a complete farce. As it was, there was enough reality to make Carrie's fairy-tale reunion with Aidan just a nice little off-shoot and not a big deal, no matter how they tried to play it up.
Guilt for a kiss while on vacation?? I don't think so. But it was still nice to see these women together again and catch up with their lives.
