Movie Reviews of Robin Hood
- Robin Hood was terrible! First of all, I LOVE Ridley Scott - my favorite director. I walked into this movie knowing that it may be terrible, but I ignored the bad press. Let me tell you, friends, this movie was utterly forgettable. Terrible! The acting was fine, but the script was unbelievably generic! Drama, Drama, Drama, fight scene between people you don't care about, drama, horses, drama, etc. Please avoid at all costs.
- I recently went to see Robin Hood with my fiance. The movie started out slow and then quickly became nothing but war. Now I know that this is "historically accurate" for Europe during this time but I did not enjoy it. The actual story of Robin Hood robbing from the wealthy to give to the poor was very poorly told. I feel asleep twice during this movie and absolutely hated that I wasted $12.00 to go see it. Definitely Russell Crowe's worst film that I have seen.
- When I heard that Russell Crowe was going to star in a film about Robin Hood. I was quite excited as Robin Hood is one of my favorite stories and have it directed by Sir Ridley Scott just added to the giddiness. Robin Hood deals with how a King's archer became a champion for the poor and downtrodden. There were so many great scenes in this film from the first to the last. There wasn't a slow bit in the movie. Great action, some lovely tender spots, and more than one cause to cheer.
- Robin Hood (2010) was actually a pretty good movie. I know the critics didn't like it all that much, but I thought Russel Crowe was at his best, and I always love Cate Blachett. I found a new actor who I absolutely adore though: Kevin Durand! He plays Little John, and he is about the hottest actor out there. I would see this movie again for him alone.
I thought the story was alright- it was definitely a new take on an old tale. The villains were despicable, and our heroes wonderful, just like it out to be. I would give it 4/5 stars.
- The movie "Robin Hood" with Russell Crowe is a GREAT movie! Filled with action and even romance for the women watching!
By far one of the best movies that I've seen this year! It gives you a great look at a new side of Robin Hood that you never thought about. I recommend this movie for everyone! :)
