- Roadie: Starring Meatloaf. Also starring Art Carney, Roy Orbison,Blondie, Alice Cooper, and others. Art Carney plays Meatloaf's father. Art is a fix it junk dealing man. He can fix anything! The store slogan is "Everything Works If You Let it". Art is a very competent tinkerer and fixer of things. He's very confident. He has passed on some of his abilities to his son. However, his son still needs to go out into the world to prove himself. He becomes a Roadie. He wants to be the Best Roadie in the World! He gains confidence and becomes the best roadie in the world and meets all sorts of people. He meets a girl too who he likes but she is torn between Meatloaf and Alice Cooper. She finally chooses Meatloaf and they live happily ever after. This movie is weird and funny. I recommend it. 5 stars.
