Movie Reviews of Pretty Woman
- "Pretty Woman" is a feel good movie. When you leave the theater, you are happy that you are alive and there is still hope. This movie shows that no amount of money can really make a person happy and at peace. On the other end of the spectrum, being poor is not a death sentence. The character of Julia Roberts is prove that at least in movies, the poor can have a good life. This movie also takes us into a dream world, thus we feel good in the end. There is so much pain and suffering in the world that a feel good movie is essential to let man escape even for a few hours.
- I still admire the movie “Pretty Woman”. The movie is like a fairy tale story by meeting a MR. Charming (Richard Gere) at the end. Julia Roberts no doubt played the role very well by portraying as a prostitute. The business tycoon Richard Gere is a really good actor, a romantic hero who won million hearts so the role was extremely qualified. The camera work was perfect. The plot was great with a mix of entertainment, comedy romance etc.
The movie was about Edward (Richard Gere) a business tycoon falling in love with a prostitute. The movies open both the character by meeting on the roadside. After that, he offers her with money asking her to stay with him for entire week. During this time, the director show how rich he was by letting her (Julia Roberts) buy the most expensive designer wear, giving diamond necklace as a gift etc. They started falling in love with one another in this short period. He never knew that the girl will be more than what he expected, a wonderful girl with a big heart. Julia Roberts never thought of a guy with whom will be very good and caring unlike others. The climax comes when Julia Roberts was about to leave. At the end; they both met one another and unite.
