  • MacGruber Review

Will Forte and Val Kilmer Star in a big screen adaption of SNL sketch which parodies the action hero of the 80s-90s. It starts out with a prologue and then a title theme that is a bit as funny as it is epic. From that point it goes down hill starting with a Rambo III reference. After that it relies on crude toilet humor which pretty much fails on most accounts. Overall, an okay movie, not the funniest.

  • Macgruber (2010) is a hilarious, action-packed comedy, which originated from Saturday Night Live skits. If you liked Wayne’s World, the Saturday Night Live writers are at it again, but this time more action and more funny! Macgruber (played by Will Forte) is prompted to return as a government operative when he realizes his wife's killer is involved in some stinky plans to attack the US. Fully equipped with paper clips, tennis balls, and a stick of celery, Macgruber and his new team Vicki (Kristin Wiig) and Lieutenant Dixon Piper (Ryan Phillippe) awkwardly combine their beauty, brains, and bombs to catch Macgruber's nemesis Cunth (Val Kilmer) in the act. This movie is rated for mature audiences. A must see if you are in need of a good laugh!
