Movie Reviews of Little Miss Sunshine
- Little Miss Sunshine is a bittersweet comedy involving a dysfunctional family on a road trip. The little girl wants to be a beauty queen, her parents fight all the time, her brother won't speak, her uncle is suicidal, and her grandpa snorts heroin. It is a fractured, modern American story with a sadness underlying the funny stuff. It is rated R and therefore recommended for adults, though maybe not seniors. It does a good job of exploring the American obsession with winning at all costs.
