Movie Reviews of Legion
- My husband and I watched "Legion" this past weekend and I wish I could get my money returned to me. This movie has so many things that are just wrong with it. I can understand the originality of the direction of the film, angels trying to obey God by eliminating the human race except for one that tries to save the world.
There were very few things that were enjoyable about this film. I did like the mixture of some stars that I knew with some fresh faces. The special effects of the angels taking over some of the humans was a bit different and really creepy. The overall story would have been a good premise, but would definitely need better acting and a better script.
There are many things wrong with this film that you can't just look past. It is horribly drawn out in some spots. There seems to be some sort of an "enlightening" speech every few minutes that are just bad. Everyone has problems, but there didn't seem to be a real life connection to the characters. The characters were not developed enough where you actually cared or not if they died. As for an apocolyptical film, there definitely should have been way more action to it.
Overall, don't waste your time or money of watching this film. There just is not enough redeeming qualities to make this worth it, unless of course, you like to watch cussing grannies, but then I'd only watch the first 20 minutes and turn it right back off.
