Movie Reviews of Kinky Boots
- I recently watched a movie called Kinky Boots - To date one of the best-executed, freshest ideas I've seen in a film. It's about a man who grows up around high-quality leather shoe making somewhere in Britain. His dad owns the shop, and it's meant to be passed onto him with he grows up. When his father does finally die, the man discovers that the company is in trouble, because no one wants to buy high quality shoes anymore. In short, he has to figure out how to save the company, and ends up befriending a drag queen and learning a lot about himself and the world in the process. The acting is incredible, especially the man playing the drag queen. Consistently funny and an all-around excellent production.
