  • Killers
Everyone wishes to have a family, but every family has its own problem, usually it is some minor problems, but it becomes a major problem if one party is a killer before they marry.
Spencer Aimes works for the government as an undercover assassin. And he was undergoing a mission in Nice at France, where he met Jen Kornfeldt, who has just break up with her boyfriend. With an interesting scene in the elevator, they went for dinner that night. However, at this point Jen did not know Spencer is a killer, and will blow up a copter during their dinner.
After dinner, they went to the hotel room, and Jen began to tell him that she has just lied about herself during dinner, but she fell asleep when Spencer told her about his job. Then Spencer decided to quit his job, but his boss told him he could not just walk away like that.
Then the screen fast forward to three years later, they have married and both have a good occupation. But Spencer received a postcard from his old boss, asking him to get back into the assassin job. He decided to refuse it, but everything becomes weird the day after.
When Spencer woke up the next day, one of his friends is trying to kill him, and was told that there is a $20 Million bonus for his head. So Spencer and Jen began to fled and trying to find out who is the person behind all these.
Eventually, they found out it is Jen’s dad who started this because he was Spencer’s target three years ago in Nice, but he was not in the copter at that time. And he knows about Spencer’s job, so he arranged lots of people in their neighborhood in case Spencer wanted to return his previous job. As he saw the postcard from Spencer’s old boss, he thought that Spencer would return the job and started the plan.
After a short discussion between the families, they have understood each other and finally peace in the family. A new member is added when Jen got the baby.
This movie shows the contrast between a regular house life and a killer’s life. However, it is not a great movie because there are already some similar movie like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which has far more action and special effects in that movie.
Moreover, Spencer does not look like a professional killer when he is trying to get away. The biggest mistake is he tried to return his house when he knows everyone is chasing after him. Although he got money hidden in his house, he should not return because most of his neighbors are running after him.
I think this movie is quite suitable for husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend because Spencer and Jen is trying to solve their family problem while they are running away, they might learn how to handle family problems under stress, which would be good for the family.
This movie titled “killer”, and the title tells watcher everything because almost everyone in the movie is or was a killer, from Spencer and his father, to all the neighbors. Despite some of the unprofessional moves, this is not a bad movie as a whole.
