Movie Reviews of Easy A
- Easy A was an excellent movie! It had a stellar cast, who embraced the humor of the script. Particularly strong were Amanda Bynes as a stuck up student, and Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson as laid back parents. This movie, while about a high school, is so smart and funny that it would appeal to any audience. The connections to the Scarlet Letter are strong, but not heavy handed. Overall, 4 stars for a strong cast and an excellent script. Go see it, then see it again!
- I just watched the movie "Easy A" starring Emma Stone. I found it very funny, and despite the racy subject matter, it was mostly acceptable for viewing with teenage family members. "Easy A" referred to classic 80's movies like John Cusack's "Say Anything" without being derivative, and was highly original.
