Movie Reviews of Dinner for Schmucks
- Recently I had just watched the movie "Dinner for Schmucks". I wouldn't say that it was necessarily a good movie, but a bad movie with good/hilarious moments. Most of the jokes were infantile, however, if this appeals to you (like it did for me), it can be very enjoyable. It is best to go into the movie without any expectations, and you are sure to enjoy yourself.
- I went with my boyfriend to see 'Dinner For Schmucks' shortly after it came out in the theaters. It was not as funny as some of the other Steve Corell movies (eg, '40-Year-Old Virgin'), but had its moments. It was not paced the way i expected but it actually worked better this way. The actual dinner party part of the movie was not much of the movie time-wise, but it was better that way. Most of the movie was Steve Corell getting on Paul Rudd's character's nerves. The fallout in Rudd's character's relationship as a result of Corell's misguided antics make the movie good. I would recommend it as a good date movie, and would be best enjoyed on a dvd rental.
