Movie Reviews of Deadgirl
- Deadgirl is rated R for good reasons: there are scenes of necrophilia, quite a few F-bombs, and bloody violence among teenagers as they fight over the fate of a dead...girl. They have found her in the basement of an abandoned mental hospital. A few of them want to use her as their object of pleasure, but one more principled teen takes a stand--that is, until a girl he loves is captured and taken to the basement, where the others hope the dead girl will infect her with a bite and make yet another sex slave/dead girl out of her.
Obviously this is not for everyone and it is certainly not for anyone under the age of 17 or 18. The subject matter is disturbing yet oddly compelling. I give it three stars for the acting, the mood, and the eerie music.
