  • Date Night

Date Night, starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey, is a movie that shines a brilliant light on modern marriage. In the film, Carell and Fey play a married couple with two kids. They're a happy couple, but their routines have become a little stale. Having sex on the same night every week, going to dinner at the same place in the same suit and the same dress every Friday night threatens to tear their marriage apart. To solve this, they decide to go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant where a steak might be more expensive than your car payment. While there, they are mistaken for a married couple. Hilarity ensues. Date Night is not your average romantic comedy, which is great for me. Laugh out loud moments are sprinkled throughout this film, and we are spared a lot of clawing sentimentalism that plagues so many of these types of movies. The material is fresh, the acting is flawless, and the overall feel is very funny. I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys having some good laughs.

  • Want a fun movie to watch on your date night, then I strongly suggest Date Night, starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell. My fiance and I often have a difficult time finding a movie we can both enjoy, but this made the cut for both of us. It follows a married couple, looking to liven up their love life by hitting the town for a glamorous night. After a case of mistaken identity, the couple soon falls into danger, and with Tina Fey and Steve Carell as the leads, hilarity ensues. Lots of funny moments for me, and plenty of action for my fiance. Date Night is a movie everyone will love.
