- Sam Cahill is a decorated Marine for a successful military career, who is married with Grace and has two girls named Isabelle and Maggie. When Sam is sent on a dangerous mission in Afghanistan, his younger brother Tommy Cahill must take responsibility for the head of the family and take care of Grace's welfare and two nieces, although in the past had done prison and was considered a "black sheep" in the family.
After the Sam Cahill`s helicopter is shot down in the Pamir Mountains, and the soldier is reported missing and considered dead, Tommy and Grace become aware of mutual physical attraction they feel, although they are frightened and ashamed at the same time about these feelings.
Although everyone believed dead, Sam Cahill was captured along with another American soldier by Taliban, experiencing serious psychological trauma during captivity and comes home very sick. Tense atmosphere at home, make Sam to become suspicious and assume that between Grace and his brother, Tommy, it`s an affair.
