- I just recently watched the movie Being John Malkovich (1999), the movie and cast are extraordinary. It's different from your typical romance, comedy, or drama movie. If you're looking for something unique to watch, you can stop looking now and grab this movie. It mostly takes place in the mind of John Malkovich, through a portal that can be accessed by others and allow them to "be" John Malkovich. Although by the title you'd probably think that this is a movie dedicated to John Malkovich, but it is not. It has him as a main character but it's so different and unique. You will never be able to guess the ending. Cast includes John Cusack, Cameron Diaz, Catherine Keener and John Malkovich as main characters. A good and rare find!
