Movie Reviews of Alice In Wonderland

  • The movie Alice in Wonderland with Johhny Depp, was very interesting. The costumes, make-up and theatrics made the movie fun to watch. I thought the acting was great. The movie is fun for the whole family.

  • This review is about the movie 'Alice in Wonderland' released on DVD last month. Everyone knows about the story but Tim Burton has shown it differently and the sets in the movie are extremely colorful. Especially at the last scene when Alice fights with the dragon. I also liked the smiling cat and Johnny Depp proved again that he can suit well in any charecter. Its a challenge to show the story differently which is know to everyone form years. Its a must have DVD (Blu Ray) collection at home, especially if you have children at home. Enjoy.

  • Alice In Wonderland by Tim Burton was such a great movie. The directors took green screen to a whole new level during creation. The characters play excellently together too. The movie is even better than the original Alice in Wonderland by Walt Disney

  • Tim Burton's: 'Alice In Wonderland,' is an amazing and breathtaking film. It mixes the fantastical world of Alice's imagination with the dull reality of her waking life. In Both worlds she is faced the tasks that all those around her have placed upon her. in "wonderland" she must fight a hideous monster, and in her life outside "wonderland" she is told she must marry a duke. and in the end she realizes she has strength to defeat the horrible beast and to decide for herself, and she ultimately becomes a partner in Her father's business with the man whom was to be her father-in-law. it is a brilliant movie with the morale of dealing with your problems and handling them with strength and courage. This film is wonderful for all ages, and though it seems dark, it has a very heartfelt ending.

  • Alice in Wonderland is a fabulous 3D version of the classic book. All of the characters come to life and one has the urge to cheer Alison on. Her adventures keep you on the edge of your seat, and this version is fun for adults and children. The special effects make the price of admission worthwhile.

  • "Alice In Wonderland" shows yet again why Johnny Depp is a master at creating memorable, humanistic characters that each have their own design and motivation. Visually, the film is feast for the eyes, vivid and brilliant in Burton's well-known graphic style. Helena Bonham Carter, as the Queen of Hearts, spends much of the film screaming "Off with their head!" which is a overdone if not distracting to the film. Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska, was capable in her role but was frequently overshadowed by other characters in the film, being a 'filler' character for Depp's tour de force display. The casting for the pompous, titled fiance of Alice could not have been better served, while Avril Lavigne's soundtrack was disappointing and did not enhance the film. Enjoyable fantasy which is well worth seeing on the big screen!
