- Is "2012" art? Absolutely not. It reminds us that cinema exists not only to make art but also to expertly create sensation like no other medium. When done well, that can be just as valuable and just as astonishing. But is "2012" a sublime example of the kind of huge-budget entertainment that Hollywood does best -- indeed, the only kind of movie making at which Hollywood continues to excel? Yes. It is certainly the best movie of its kind ever made. It should (but surely will not) be the last movie of its kind ever made. After "2012," would-be Emmerich will have a hard time impressing audiences with their asteroids and their space invaders. This is the way the world ends: with a bang.

The question is - could it really happen? It turns out that the idea of doomsday in or around 2012 is not far fetched at all. Although it won't happen quite like the movie, but rather the old fashion way - war.
- I recently watched 2012 movie.It is a very nice movie.the director and other technicians including the actors have done a very great job.By seeing this movie I really felt very sad about the earth.I think that the world has its end in December as it is said in the movie 2012.The American president character in this movie is one of the best character I like in this movie.I really love this movie.graphics work done in this movie is so good.It does not look like graphics it is so real.Very great movie.

- The move 2012 is based on the end of the world happening in 2012. There is alot of emotions this movie stirs up from sadness to fear. The movie overall i would give a 5 star. The movie had alot of action scenes and the special effects were absolutely amazing. i would recommend people going to see this movie.

Review: Really its a amazing movie,Roland Emmerich proved once again he is the best in film making.Each and every second showing miracle on the screen.its a life time movie for me.all should watch this film to know the importance of nature.from this film i can learn one thing that is while comparing with nature science and technology is zero..
- Just watched 2012, the movie is horribly long with loads of unwanted drama clips, kudos for the animation used, but halfway through the movie, I literally got some ice cubes from the cafe to keep myself from dozing off. The story revolves around a family who keep dodging tsunamis, earthquakes, falling buildings, volcanoes and what not and always seem to get away, pushing it a bit too far. On the whole a few parts could have been edited and done away with for eg: the yellow wires getting caught that wouldnt shut the doors, come on man - it's already been 130mins, we don't need to see that crap - it's too boring for movie like this. I didn't find one person walk out with a satisfied look - most looked happy that the movie was "Finally" Over and some came out sleep walking. On the whole - 10/10 for the animation 3/10 for the story a perfect 0 for the length - overall maybe 5/10. Too bad expected a lot more from this one.

I think this is the movie of the decade!what an work by the director!really he amazed us with graphics.He rocks the world at the top.Everyone in movie have performed very well.the story is about the end of the world according to the Mayan's calender.the scene of demolishing of California was really amusing and waves demolishing at Climax are outrageous.child artists have done a very good performance.The theme of the movie is when the Love ends in the world then the world is gonna end.Still there is some logic missed but it is not noticed in magic of making of the movie.A must watch movie in our Lifetime.
